Steph’s 34th Birthday

Today would have been Stephanie’s 34th Birthday.

Please do what you can to honor her, whether it be an action or a memory.

I don’t bring this up for sympathy or to encourage sadness. I want her to be remembered for how great she was and what her life meant to all of us.

I just wanted to put some new thoughts/etc here.

The Scholarship Fund is still pending some important issues, but is closer than ever to fruition.

I again want to acknowledge my family’s gratitude to those who have contributed thus far and to those of you who will in the future or have dedicated your time/efforts. The funds are slowly building and please feel free to pass along any ideas you have to honor Steph.

This July 18th is as always an important date to us as it not only would have been her 34th birthday, but a time to reflect and celebrate my sister. Please think of her and enjoy the day for her.

Thank you again, and as always we cherish any thoughts/stories/photos you may have.

Remember the fun

I was talking to Sara the other day about all the good times Steph and I had as kids hanging out after school waiting for our parents to get home from work.

This included dressing her up in my hockey gear and shooting tennis balls at her. But only after roller skating around my Uncle’s pool table that was stored in the basement. Don’t worry, she was never hurt and was great at defending the card-table goal.

I also remember all the time we spent under the pool table during Tornado Warnings. We were scared, but glad we had each other to keep company as we waited for the sirens to end or our parents to get home from work.
